*Voluntary Sector Resilience Fund  The Partnership is making available a fund to provide a one-off cash injection to voluntary organisations that can demonstrate they provide essential front-line services which require support as a result of the recession.  Download the Application FormGuidance NotesHelp Notes and list of Outcomes which applicants need to address.

*Equality and Diversity Training During 2009, the Dundee Partnership funded Equalities Training for key staff across partner agencies.  Avante Consulting were commissioned to deliver the training, which comprised two half day awareness raising sessions and one full day on approaches to Equality Impact Assessment.  The information provided at these events is now available as an information resource http://www.dundeepartnership.co.uk/page.php?id=760.

* ScotPHN The Scottish Public Health Network has launched a new website for the sharing of information on health improvement www.scotphn.net.

* Dundee Healthy Living Initiative is featured in a new report highlighting strategic approaches to community-led health improvement, as part of the Meeting the Shared Challenge programme.

*Single Outcome Agreement The new SOA was signed in July 2009

* Dundee Partnership Digest September 2009's issue of the Digest is now out.  The Digest celebrates activity and achievement within the Partnership.

*Dundee Partnership Forum The Dundee Partnership Forum in September 2009 focused on understanding and responding the economic recession.  Presentations included:

-    Economic Outlook for Scotland

-    Implications of the recession for Dundee

-    Scottish Economic Recovery Plan

-    Tackling the Recession - Action by Dundee City Council  

report on the outcome of the Forum went to November's Dundee Partnership Management Group, and includes responses from theme leaders to actions identified at the Forum workshops to reduce the impact of, and aid recovery from, the recession.

* Dundee Partnership Awards  The 2009 awards were presented on 6 November.  Details of the winners are here.  Photos Part 1Part 2.  Look out for information on the 2010 awards next Spring.

*Keep Well Page 9 of the latest Keep Well Newsletter highlights achievements in Dundee, including the delivery of around 6,000 health assessments.

* Discover Opportunities  The Discover Opportunities Centre brings together staff from various organisations to provide a joined up service to help people progress into employment, education or training.  The Discover Opportunities Centre team offer advice on jobs and careers, Money matters, Childcare, and Health.  For more information www.discoveropportunities.org.uk

*TACTRAN joins Partnership  Tayside and Central Scotland Transport Partnership is now a member of the Dundee Partnership.  TACTRAN brings together local authorities and other stakeholders to take a strategic approach to transport.  For more information www.tactran.gov.uk

* Dundee Partnership Forum - Alcohol Issues for Dundee Read the report on the Alcohol Issues Forum held in March 2009.  September's Forum is on the impact of the recession - report to be posted here soon.

* Dundee Partnership Digest Spring 2009 - The Dundee Partnership Digest celebrates Partnership activity and achievements.

* Cultural Pathfinder Project - see the report on this action research project which aimed to increase access to cultural opportunities through community engagement

* SEPA's plans for the Tay  The first draft River Basin Management Plans and supporting Tay Area Management Plan have been published by SEPA.  This is a significant milestone for river basin planning and heralds a new era in the sustainable management of our water environment.  SEPA would welcome comments on the draft to help shape the final plans.  To view and download copies of the plans go to SEPA's website:  http://www.sepa.org.uk/water/river_basin_planning.aspx

* Equality and Diversity The annual report of the Equality and Diversity Partnership is now available.

* Integrated Childrens Services  Partners are working together to improve outcomes for young people.  See the Integrated Childrens Services website www.dundeecity.gov.uk/chserv for details.

* Gender Equality  See Dundee City Council's Gender Equality and Diversity Scheme.  The first Gender Equality and Diversity Annual Report, September 2008 is now available.

* Disability Equality  -  Dundee City Council has just published its annual report.  word versioneasy read version.  Comments from people affected by disability are always welcome.  Please email disability@dundeecity.gov.uk.

*Community Learning and Development Strategy  Dundee City Council's Leisure and Communities Department has published a Review of Key Achievements under the priorities in this strategy.   

*Welcome to Dundee pack  The Partnership's 'welcome' pack for international workers, students and their families, including lots of useful information about living and working in Dundee, is currently being updated and will be available to download again soon

* Finance for Life Campaign   The Partnership is funding a campaign to raise awareness of the information, advice and support available in Dundee to help people manage their finances.  To find out more about the campaign, and read transcripts from a series of radio broadcasts on each topic please click here

*Measuring our progress  Every six months, the Dundee Partnership Management Group receives progress reports so it can check that the Partnership is achieving its objectives.  Latest progress report on all the actions in the Community Plan.   Latest indicators covering issues such as population, employment, crime, education, health and deprivation
