This is an exciting and innovative public, voluntary and private sector partnership funded by the Scottish Government. Its Capacity Building Programme is led by the voluntary sector andaims to build the capacity of communities to deliver services aimed at keeping older people safe and well in their own homes. This includes funding to test new co-production, volunteering and social enterprise services. These posts are initially funded for 12 months and may be available for secondment from partner agencies.

1.     Programme Coordinator
PO1 SJC Point 25  £29,448          35 hours
You will have responsibility and accountability for the development and management of the Capacity Building Programme.  You will be qualified to degree level with experience of project management and budgets. You will have experience of community engagement,  capacity building and partnership working.
2.     Monitoring and Administration Officer
AP 2 SJC Point 19  £18,441          35 hours
You will provide all monitoring and administrative support to the Capacity Building Programme. You will have a Business and Administration qualification as well as workplace experience of ICT and be highly motivated with excellent organisational skills.

3.     Volunteer Development Worker
AP 3 SJC Point 23   £20,520          35 hours
You will provide ‘best practice’ in volunteer management skills and expertise for the Capacity Building Programme including testing out city-wide recruitment and training of volunteers to work with older people. With a relevant qualification and two years experience of managing volunteers, you will have knowledge of quality standards, such as Volunteer Friendly, as well as designing and delivering training.
